guy walks into a computer store and buys an accounting program that came in
floppy disks. Upon installation, the guy finds that one of them is corrupted.
So he calls the technical support helpline and tells the customer care
representative that he just purchased the program and had a problem with one of
the disks. The customer care representative tells her to either bring in the
disks or have them mailed in for a replacement. A few days passes and an
envelope from the guy arrives at the software
developer’s mailroom and is sent to the support department. Inside was a letter and a photocopy of the disks. A
major computer manufacturer is considering revising the command “Press Any key
to Continue” to “Press the Return Key” after majority of the calls their
