Three guys, one American, a Briton and a German were traveling down the Amazon when they were ambushed by Natives and taken to their camp. They were informed they had violated the tribe’s territory and that since they were foreigners they would be set free after receiving punishment if they promise not to return.

The guards pulled out the Briton, asking him, “ What would you like on your back?”

“I’d take oil please,” he says. So they rub oil on his back and give him 10 lashes after which there were huge red welts that were so painful he fainted.

The guards next took the German, again asking him,” What would you like on your back?”

“Nothing” said the defiant German who did not even flinch as he was given his 10 lashings.

The American was next and when he was asked, “ What would you want on your back?”

He stopped and thought for a while, finally answering, “The Briton?”

A husband and wife were on their retirement trip to Jerusalem to see many of the religious sites that have been associated with their religious beliefs. While touring one day, the wife stumbled ad fell from a cliff they were climbing to see the Holy Land, and died instantly. She was taken to the local hospital and declared Dead on arrival.

The grieving husband was approached by the undertaker and asked, “ Sir, I’m sorry to ask you this at this difficult time. But you need to let us know if you would be having your wife buried here or would you have her taken back home for burial there?”

The husband thought for a little and asks back,” How much would it cost me?”

Undertaker, “ If you choose to have her buried here it’ll cost you $150.00, if you ship her home and have her buried there, about $5,000.”

The husband again thinks and says, “ I’ll take her home with me.”

The puzzled undertaker asks, “ Sir, it’ll cost you $5,000, are you sure?”

“Yes,” he says, “ A few hundred years ago, a man was buried here who rose after three days. I can’t take that risk.”
