Aviation Jokes
The
thought of flying sent a chill through my spine and this being my first plane
trip was no exception. But after a few assuring words from the ticketing agent
where he quoted statistical information that many more die of driving than flying,
I was a bit more relaxed and ready to take to the sky. As we were leaving the
booth, he said’ “ Now take Gate 22,” as he gave me my ticket.
“That’s where we give out helmets, scarves, goggles and parachutes.”
Upon
arriving in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a flight attendant of a
BA flight greeted the passengers as the plane was making it’s
way towards the unloading platform. She said in a pleasant calm voice,” Ladies
and gentlemen, we welcome you to Saudi Arabia, and for the correct local time,
please set back your watches back 300 years, Thank You for flying BA and we
hope to see you soon.”
Pilots
have long been known to show stress both physical and emotional in strange
ways. One pilot was flying over St. Louis when he suddenly came
over the P.A. system saying,” For passengers on the left side of the plane.
There is a special treat for you. Look down and you will see a rather large
house with two BMW’s parked in front. Let me show you.” With those words, the
pilot actually tilted the plane enough for the passengers to see straight down.

Flight
crews on commercial airline have their own ways of dealing with the stresses of
flying. On approach one day on a flight, the captain went on the intercom with
