orchestra player was scheduled to perform with the rest of his gang but he
forgets the time and place of the performance due to a late night dinner the
night before. He calls up the musical productions office and asks the time and
place but gets this answer,” I’m sorry to have to tell you this. Your musical
director died earlier today and as sign of respect to Mr. Conductor, we have
cancelled the show for a few days pending a new schedule.” He
hangs up, thinks a while and calls the office again. He does so for a dozen
times and on the thirteenth time, the secretary at the music office says, “ Look, He’s dead, so why do you keep bugging me and asking
what the date and time of the performance is?” He
answers, “ Well, I just liked to hear you say that!” What
do you call five trumpet players and a couple of Tuba players in a strip club? Horny. A
frantic band director calls his doctor saying, “ Doc I
need help fast. One of my Oboe players has swallowed her reeds and is choking!” The
doctor seemingly unmoved by the call says, “ Well……
Maybe a muted trumpet would do!” A
tuba player wanted to torture the drummer who was seated behind him one day. So
he hid one of the drum sticks as they went on a short break for lunch. The
drummer returns to his post and runs to the middle of the stage, much to the
amusement of the musicians. He shouts at the top of his lungs, “ Yess….. Finally.
After all these years of hard work, I’m the conductor.”
