Travel and Vacation Jokes
England’s West countryside is
known for it’s charming cottage-like shops that seem
to reflect n easy laid-back atmosphere. On a trip once with a friend, she
happened to peer into a window where she spotted shelves upon shelves of
interesting looking books. She went inside and had a look around when an
elderly man showed up and asks politely, “ Can I help
you?” he asks.
My
friend answers, “ No Thank You, Just browsing.”
The
man turned his back on his way to the kitchen, saying, “ Fine,
But you know dear, in these parts, people knock before entering someone’s
home!”
While waiting at the baggage claim at an airport from a long
relaxing trip to the Mediterranean, I
watched in horror as my bag flew down the chute and blew open scattering all of
it’s contents all over. I rushed to contain the
already embarrassing situation but my toothbrush managed to escape my grasp and
continued to roll down the rest of the belts. In my efforts to retrieve the
wayward toothbrush I can’t help but overhear a fellow passenger say,” Boy, that
guy sure travels light!”
I
was disembarking a bus when I overheard the driver say, “When you exit, please
make sure you lower your head and watch your step. If you do miss your step and
hit your head, please lower your voice and watch your language. Thank You.”
